LOUISVILLE, Ky. -The Spalding University men's and women's track and field teams competed yesterday, March 28, 2026, at the Jim Vargo Invitational hosted by Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY. The Golden Eagles saw standout performances across the board, highlighted by top-ten finishes in both sprinting and hurdle events.
Men's Highlights
Sophomore
Chad Dahl led the way for the men's squad with two top-five finishes. Dahl secured a 2nd-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.94 seconds and followed it up with a 5th-place finish in the 200-meter dash, clocking in at 21.96 seconds.
Other notable men's performances included:
- Caleb Stinson (JR): Earned a top-10 finish in the 800-meter run, placing 10th with a time of 2:00.81.
- Devon Howard (SO): Finished 20th in the 200-meter dash (23.04s).
- Noah Stinson (JR): Competed in both the 400-meter dash (33rd, 55.76s) and the 800-meter run (16th, 2:18.07).
- Javier Manon (FR): Finished 35th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.82 seconds.
Women's Highlights
The women's team was headlined by strong showings in the 400-meter hurdles. Freshman
Lucy Jones and junior
Roslyn Stull both secured top-ten spots, finishing 7th (1:11.96) and 8th (1:12.98), respectively.

- Sprints: Lucy Jones also competed in the 100-meter dash, placing 21st (13.54s), followed by Roslyn Stull in 25th (13.93s) and Morganne Piercey in 29th (15.47s).
- Mid-Distance: Eryn Rataiczak finished 27th in the 400-meter dash (1:10.15), while Avory Hamblen placed 28th in the 800-meter run (2:53.89) and 31st in the 1500-meter run (6:08.04).
- Distance: Junior Reganne Piercey represented the Golden Eagles in the 5000-meter run, finishing 22nd with a time of 20:52.41.
