ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Spalding University men's soccer junior Eddie Mendez-Perez has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Mendez-Perez led SU to two wins this week. He played all 180 minutes, tallied a game-winning goal against Mount St. Joseph, and grabbed two assists. 

It is the first SLIAC Offensive Player of the Week award of the year for men's soccer.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Wednesday, September 17th. SU will travel to Bellarmine University for a regular-season game. Kickoff is set for 7 pm.
