ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Spalding University men's soccer graduate student Oliver Frankenfeld has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Frankenfeld led SU to two wins this week. He played all 180 minutes and scored a goal against Mount St. Joseph as a center-back. 

It is the first SLIAC Defensive Player of the Week award of the year for men's soccer.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Wednesday, September 17th. SU will travel to Bellarmine University for a regular-season game. Kickoff is set for 7 pm.
