LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University Fortnite teams showed resilience in Week Six of ECAC Fortnite Duos, the duo of Andrew Bland and Evan Orr bounced back after a tough showing in week five.
After having just a couple of days of practice, the Golden Eagles had to drop into a brand new map since Fortnite updated over the weekend, this meant all new drop spots and a new loot pool. Evan and Andrew adapted quickly and had a great first two games. Their ability to adapt and communicate led them to the end game in order to earn some points. The duo placed; 7th, 3rd, and then 29th in their three games.
Meanwhile, Matthew Judkins put together a solid night, tallying seven eliminations and displaying strong mechanical skill. He capitalized on key opportunities with his rotations and contributed valuable points to his duos total.
