VALLEY PARK, Mo. - The Spalding University cross country teams closed out the 2025 SLIAC Championships with determined efforts from both squads, as the men finished fourth out of eight teams and the women placed fifth out of eight. The Golden Eagles were led by standout performances across both rosters.
TURNING POINT
On the women's side, Spalding was led by Reganne Piercy, who placed 16th overall with a time of 26:58.21. Right behind her was teammate 
Bessie Kelley, who finished 17th in 27:13.29 to give the Golden Eagles a strong one-two combination up front. 
Eryn Rataiczak crossed the line in 31:43.93 for 33rd place, followed closely by 
Azra Sahingoz in 34th at 31:53.98, and 
Takara Williams rounded out Spalding's top five in 38th at 34:07.89.
Senior 
Wyatt Frye led the way for the Golden Eagles, placing 10th overall with a time of 27:41.98 to pace the squad up front. 
Tobias Rice followed close behind, clocking 28:20.09 for 13th place as Spalding's second finisher. Brothers 
Caleb Stinson and 
Noah Stinson provided key depth, finishing 24th and 25th with times of 30:53.09 and 31:04.26, respectively. Rounding out the scoring five, 
Jadon Garcia crossed in 34th place at 32:22.36.

Spalding will be hosting the 2025 NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship at Tom Sawyer Park on November 15th.
