LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Spalding University Fortnite program continued its inaugural season this week with another strong showing in ECAC Fortnite, highlighted by a record-setting performance from the duo of
Davieon Bowyer and
Matthew Judkins.
Despite and early elimination in their finals match, the pair posted the highest single-week total in both eliminations and points for the program so far with 20 total eliminations and 144 total points. Davieon recorded nine eliminations in a single game. Their aggressive playstyle and improved team coordination paid off throughout the evening, as they consistently found success in contested zones and secured key engagements against experienced opponents.
The performance continues a positive trend for Spalding Fortnite, with each duo showing growth and adaptation through the early weeks of competition. The record-setting effort from Davieon and Matt serves as another milestone for the young program as it continues to build its foundation.
Spalding Fortnite will return to action for Week 4 of ECAC play on 10/21, looking to maintain their momentum and build upon the strong individual and team performances seen through the opening weeks of the season.
