ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Bessie Kelley of women's cross country has earned St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Runner of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

On Saturday, in the Asbury Invite, Kelley placed 16th in field of 46 runners with a time of 27:19 on the 6K course.

This is the first Runner of the Week award for women's cross country this year. 

The Golden Eagles' next meet is Saturday, October 4th. SU will compete in the Louisville Classic.
