ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) announced Monday that baseball pitcher Jake Mueller has been named Pitcher of the Week.

On Sunday, Mueller pitched 7.1 innings against Rose-Hulman. During the game, Mueller faced 30 batters and tallied 10 strikeouts. He only allowed one earned run.

This is the first SLIAC pitching award for Spalding baseball this season.

The Golden Eagles' next contest is on Saturday, March 15th. SU will play in the Marietta/BSN SPORTS Invitational. SU will face Ithaca. The first pitch will take place at 11 am.
