ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Spalding baseball is picked to finish first in the 2025 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) coaches preseason poll, after winning their second consecutive SLIAC Championship.
 
The Golden Eagles placed first with 81 points and nine first-place votes. Webster University earned second place in the poll with 71 total points and one first-place vote. Lyon College rounded out the top three with 66 points.
 
The 2025 SLIAC Baseball Tournament will be held May 6-10 in O'Fallon, Mo. Spalding opens the season on the road on Saturday, February 15, in Rocky Mount, NC against Lynchburg.
