ST. LOUIS, MO. - Spalding University's men's basketball team had one player earn St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) All-Conference honors, and one earned a spot on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
Anthony Dillard was named to the All-Conference Second Team, and
Kameron Jones earned All-Sportsmanship Team.
Junior
Anthony Dillard averaged 19.4 ppg, 6.6 rpg, and 1.4 apg. To help lead the Golden Eagles to a third-place finish in the SLIAC. Dillard had a career game during the 2023-2024 regular season against SLIAC opponent Greenville. Anthony dropped a career-high 34 points on 17/20 shooting from the floor.Â
This is the second consecutive year Dillard was named to the All-Conference Second Team.
Sophomore
Kameron Jones earned conference honors, landing a spot on the SLIAC All-Sportmanship Team.
This is Jones' first major conference award. Jones played in 23 games this season while starting two of them.Â
The Golden Eagles finished the regular season with a 13-11 record and a conference record of 12-6. This landed SU as the third seed in the SLIAC conference tournament.
