Piercy Leads the Way for the Golden Eagles

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Golden Eagle women's cross country team opened up their season at the Rose-Hulman Opener. 

TURNING POINTS

Spalding was led by freshman Reganne Piercey in her collegiate debut with a personal record (PR) time of 25:53.7 at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course. The duo of Lexie Barthmaier and Vivienne Reinhardt crossed the line next for the Golden Eagles and finished with times of 26:17.3 and 27:014 respectively. Rounding out the squad was Muskan Jamshed who made her SU XC debut in a time of 27:31.8.

Then women will compete again next week on Saturday, September 9 at Hanover College for the Hanover Invitational. The Racing Golden Eagles are set to go off at 10 a.m. that morning.
