LITCHFIELD, Ill. - The Spalding Cross Country competed at the SLIAC Championships Saturday in Litchfield, Ill. 

On the men's side, the Golden Eagles were led by sophomore Jack Vinson who navigated the 5k course in 17:23.39 placing fourth overall to earn SLIAC First Team All-Conference honors. Junior harrier Peter McGowan took 12th place with a time of 18:13.87 earning SLIAC Second Team All-Conference honors. 

For the women's team, freshman Lexie Barthmaier competed as an individual placing 19th with a time of 24:59.72. In addition, Barthmaier received the All-Sportsmanship Award for the Golden Eagles.
