St. Louis, MO. - Spalding University men's soccer sophomore Gavin O'Donley has been named St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

On Saturday, O'Donley recorded a shutout in a 3-0 win against Eureka. The goalkeeper recorded 4 saves on Saturday with a total of 8 for the week. 

It is the second SLIAC Defensive Player of the Week award of the year for men's soccer and O'Donley. 

The Golden Eagles take to the field again on Tuesday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Spalding Athletic Complex against Principia College.
