HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half started as a tradeoff of points between teams with Spalding going into the half with a six-point deficit to the Tigers.
- Morale was high going into the second half and the Golden Eagles fought back. Two made free-throws by
Jaiquan Edwards with 10:22 left granted Spalding their first lead of the game. The Golden Eagles kept pushing getting their lead to six. However, the Tigers offense was strong, with 39 seconds left in the game the Golden Eagles only had a one-point lead. At 24 seconds,
Marcus Montgomery drained two free-throws to extend their lead to three. With one second left in the game,
Jaiquan Edwards sunk two more free-throws to secure their win of 76-71.

Marcus Montgomery led in points for Spalding with 20 points, five rebounds, and two steals.
Jaiquan Edwards followed with 14 points, six rebounds, two steals, and two blocks.
Troy Amanor also landed double digits for the night with 12 points and two blocks.
