LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University volleyball team fell to IU-Southeast in three sets, 25-23, 25-19, 25-21, Tuesday night at Derek Smith Gymnasium. The loss drops the Golden Eagles to 6-2 on the season.

Jessica Diehl led the Golden Eagle offense with 11 kills on 28 attacks finishing with .321 hitting percentage. Katelyn Cosgrove finished with 21 assists, while also tallying four kills. Defensively, Diehl led the team in blocks with one solo and three assists, while Michaela Walker and K. Cosgrove finished with three block assists. Victoria Heitzman led SU with 12 digs and Alyssa Cosgrove finished with 10.

The Golden Eagles will be back on the court tomorrow night at Derek Smith Gymnasium hosting Hanover College at 7 pm EST.
