Box Score MacMurray took a 2-0 first inning lead as Quandt drove in Highlander teammate Crouch and then scored on an error by Spalding third baseman, Kore Vire.
Scoreless for five innings, the Golden Eagles scored three runs in the top of sixth to lead MacMurray 3-2. Catcher
JR Belt singled, scoring Jesse Herman and shortstop Derek Ferch. Belt scored the last run of the inning as left fielder
Sam White flied out to left field.
SU right fielder, Nathan Greenwell stole home in the top of the seventh pushing the Golden Eagles lead to 4-2.
Kyle Whitlock, first baseman for Spalding, hit a homerun in the top of the ninth, scoring White, to give the Golden Eagles a 6-2 lead.
Three quick MacMurray outs in the bottom of the ninth secured the 6-2 victory for Spalding as they finished a clean sweep of MacMurray.
JR Belt and Whitlock finished the game with one run each and led Spalding with two RBIs apiece.
Ryan Mosby earned the win, allowing two runs off three hits, while striking out seven batters through nine innings.
