Teater and Ohlen land on HCLC All-Conference Teams

CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) released the 2025 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference teams and award winners on Wednesday.
 
Andrew Welch (Louisville, Ky.) of Transylvania University was named the 2025 HCLC Offensive Player of the Year in a vote of league coaches. Andrew leads his squad in assists (19) and points (45), while ranking in the top five for goals at 26. He is ranked #1 in the HCAC for assists per game (3.5), points per game (7.0), and in the top-10 in the HCAC for both goals per game (3.5) and shots per game (7). 

Voted as the league's 2025 Defensive Player of the Year was Scott Dues (Louisville, Ky.) of Hanover College. For his play during the HCAC season, Dues is in the top-10 for the HCAC for ground balls per game (4.25) and caused turnovers per game (2.5). Defensively, he racked up seventeen groundballs and ten caused turnovers during conference play. 
 
Anderson first-year Noah Walsh (Lexington, Ky.) was recognized as the 2025 HCLC Newcomer of the Year. In his first season in a Ravens jersey, Walsh totaled 48 points on the year. Noah found himself in the top-10 in the HCAC for goals per game (2.75), assists per game (1.25), and shots per game (7), all in conference play. Walsh led his Ravens squad in goals, points, and assists on the season. 
 
For his leadership and role in bringing Earlham to a No. 3 seed in the HCLC tournament, Taylor Lanzillo was voted as the 2025 HCLC Coach of the Year.
Offensive Player of the Year – Andrew Welch, Transylvania University
Defensive Player of the Year – Scott Dues, Hanover College
Newcomer of the Year – Noah Walsh, Anderson University
Coach of the Year – Taylor Lanzillo, Earlham College
The HCLC also honors an All-Conference First Team and Second Team. The members of those teams are selected by a vote of league coaches.
