Men's Lacrosse Grabs First Win of the Season

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Spalding Golden Eagles men's lacrosse team earned a strong 11–7 victory over the Randolph Wildcats men's lacrosse on Sunday at Legacy Fields. Spalding used a balanced offensive attack and a solid defensive performance to secure the four-goal win and control the pace of play throughout the afternoon.

GAME RECAP
Spalding's offense was led by Nicolas Guzman, Giovanni Distasio, and Balin Luebbert, who helped power the Golden Eagles attack and keep pressure on the Randolph defense. The trio combined for several key goals as Spalding built momentum and created separation during the middle portions of the game. Xzayvyon Isom also contributed offensively, adding to the Golden Eagles' scoring effort as Spalding spread the ball effectively and generated quality scoring opportunities.

The Golden Eagles' defense played an important role in the victory, limiting Randolph's offensive chances and forcing tough possessions throughout the game. In goal, John Kelly anchored the defense with several key saves to keep Randolph from gaining momentum as the Wildcats attempted to close the gap.

With contributions on both ends of the field, Spalding maintained control down the stretch and held off Randolph's late push to secure the 11–7 win.
