ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Sydney Raque of women's basketball has earned St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Raque tallied 29 points, two rebounds, one assist, two steals, and a block in the win against Lyon. On Saturday versus MUW, Raque tallied 22 points and a rebound in a must-win game. Sydney helped SU to a 2-0 week, leading them to the sixth seed in the SLIAC Tournament.

This is the first SLIAC Player of the Week award for Spalding women's basketball in the 2024-25 season.

The Golden Eagles' next contest is Tuesday, February 25th. SU will travel to Eureka College for the SLIAC Quarterfinals. The tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 pm.
