ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Spalding men's basketball is selected to finish third and grabbed a first-place vote in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) this year, according to the 2025 SLIAC coaches' preseason poll. 

The Golden Eagles were third in the poll with 48 points and one first-place vote. Webster came in first place with 63 points and seven first-place votes. Lyon came in second with 52 points. Greenville is projected to finish fourth with 36 points and one first-place vote.

The Golden Eagles will start their season on the road at Hanover College. This game will take place on November 11th.
