SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Spalding University Golden Eagles secured a gritty 86-83 victory over Covenant College Scots on November 14, 2025, improving the Eagles' record to 1-1 for the season.

Spalding came out strong in the first half, going 15-32 from the field (46.9%) and sinking 2-3 free throws to build a 40-32 lead at the intermission. Jaelen Leavell, who went 10-16 from the field for 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds;
Levi Langley added 14 points on 6-11 shooting;
Lekendrick Morris chipped in 14 points and pulled down 11 boards; and
