ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Spalding women's basketball is selected to finish sixth in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) this year, according to the 2024 SLIAC coaches preseason poll.
The Golden Eagles were sixth in the poll with 39 points. Webster came in first place with 79 points and eight first-place votes. Westminster came in second with 68 points and one vote for first place. Greenville rounded out the top three with 64 points, while Lyon grabbed fourth with 61 points and one first-place vote.
The 2024 SLIAC Women's Basketball Tournament will be held from February 25th-March 1st. The Golden Eagles will start their season on the road versus Franklin College in Franklin, IN. This match will take place on November 8th.
