ST. LOUIS, Mo. -
Anthony Dillard of Spalding University men's basketball has earned the first St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Player of the Week of his career, the conference announced Monday.
Dillard notched the first double-double of his career with 22 points and 12 rebounds against Franklin. The sophomore's point total was the highest of any Golden Eagle this season. His rebound total also tied the team-high set by
Maxton Campbell twice this season.
This is the first SLIAC Player of the Week award of the 2022-23 season for Spalding men's basketball.
The next contest for the Golden Eagles falls on New Year's Eve. SU will face Millikin at 2 p.m.
