Louisville, KY. - Natalie Fichter, a senior guard from Louisville, Ky., has been named the first Spalding women's basketball Arrow Safety Player of the Game of 2022.

In Saturday's season-opening exhibition against Miami-Middletown, Fichter scored 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting. She added nine total rebounds and two assists. The senior also tallied one block and three steals on the defensive end.

Fichter was named to the 2022-23 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Preseason Watch List and is a prior two-time all-conference selection.

The Golden Eagles return to action next Wednesday, Nov. 9 at Miami-Hamilton. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
