LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Over the summer, we'll be catching up with some of our student-athletes to get to know them better and see what they're up to over the break. The second student-athlete featured in the series is,
Zane Baker, a senior-to-be on the Spalding baseball team.
Zane is from Shelbyville, Ky. He graduated from Martha Layne Collins Highschool. Zane is studying Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Financial Planning.
What's your favorite road trip snack?
Ham and swiss Lunchables.

Land of the Lost.
Who's your favorite athlete?
Eric Meyer.
What are your plans over the summer?
I am going to work, trying to save up as much money as possible, while keeping my body in the best shape I can.
What are you most looking forward to for the upcoming 2020 season?
Getting back out there with the guys. There isn't anything quite like putting in all the hard work, time, and effort with all of us striving for the exact same goal at the end of the year.
What do you do outside of school and baseball?
Hunt and fish regularly.
