LOUISVILLE, KY. – The Spalding men's basketball team lost to Greenville, 151-117, Wednesday droppeing to 10-12 on the season and 9-6 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The high-scoring Panthers raced out to a 20-point lead pulling ahead 60-40 on an Eric Williams and-one with 4:44 to play in the first half. A
Marcus Montgomery jumper sparked a 14-2 Golden Eagle run capped off by a
Brendan Holt layup that cut the Greenville lead to eight points with 2:22 remaining in the half. However, the Panthers outscored SU 13-6 over the final two minutes of the half to extend the margin to 15 at the break.
- The Panthers took control of the game scoring 23 unanswered points to start the second half as the Golden Eagles found themselves trailing by 38 points with just under 17 minutes to play and the Golden Eagles could never close the gap falling, 151-117.

Dominique Ellis had a double-double 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Troy Amanor added 18 points and 7 rebounds, while Holt scored 16 points going 8-of-10 from the field.
