2021 Season
The senior guard started five of six games played in his final season. Montgomery led the team in points per game with 18.2 which ranked him 4th in the conference. He also shot 46.9% from the field with team high 109 points and 78.6% from the free throw line. 

2019-20 Season
In his junior season, Montgomery earned SLIAC Third Team All-Conference honors after ranking second in the conference during league play in points (383), points per game (21.3) and free throw percentage (88.1). Montgomery started all 25 games leading the Golden Eagles in scoring averaging 19.5 points per game. In the last game of the season, Marcus joined the 1,000-point club with a 24 points performance against Blackburn. Montgomery rewrote SLIAC and Spalding history books when he scored a conference and school record 55 points against Greenville on January 4, 2020.

2018-19 Season
Montgomery appeared in 23 games starting in 10 his sophomore year. Montgomery was 40% from the three-point line and had an average of 83% for free throws. Montgomery highlighted his season by carrying the highest amount of points scored for the Golden Eagles at 384 for the season. 

2017-18 Season
Montgomery appeared in 19 games starting in two in his first year with the Golden Eagles. The Louisville native averaged 7 points per game, while shooting 44 percent from the field. Montgomery highlighted his season scoring 25 points connecting on 11-of-12 shots in a loss at Greenville.
