Hilliard Tallies Third Hat Trick in Win Over Eureka

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding Golden Eagles put on a strong performance dominating Eureka, 6-0, improving to 11-2-1 and 4-0-1 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kornell Hilliard continues his terrific season thus far with his third hat trick while extending his season goals total to 17 goals. Hilliard slotted goals in the 43rd, 72nd and 81st minute for the Golden Eagles on Saturday.
- Mirza Ugarak added to the day for SU coming up with a goal (78'), as well as two assists on the day
- Trustun Ashburn (22') and Coen Beech (84') also added goals for the Golden Eagles.
- Trevor Massa (4-0-0) earned the win in the net, his fourth on the season, behind another clean sheet, while coming up with two saves in the match.
  
FOR THE FOES
- Both Red Devil shots on goal came from midfielder James Bowen
- Moises Aldana (6-7-0) takes the loss in goal with allowing all six of the SU goals while having 10 saves in net for Eureka
 
UP NEXT
- Spalding will take back to the road next week at they travel to St. Louis to take on Webster in a battle of the top two teams in the conference standings on Thursday, October 18 at 8:00 PM EST.
