Box Score CRESTVIEW HILLS – The Spalding University women's soccer team dropped their second game in a row, falling to Thomas More College 5-0 Sunday afternoon.
The Golden Eagle (0-2) offense struggled in the first half, failing to get a shot while allowing three goals on defense to trail 3-0 at the half.
Spalding picked up the attack in the second half getting two shots on goal, but was unable to capitalize on the attempts. Thomas More's Olivia Huber and Erika LaRossa each slotted their second goals of the game to make the final score 5-0.
Dee Dee Sliter led Spalding offensively attempting three shots with one on goal, and
Alyssa Logan also added one shot on goal.
Kelsey Kaiser (0-1) earned the loss, allowing three goals while tallying three saves.
The Golden Eagles will be back in action Thursday, September 11 when they host their home opener against Midway College. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m., EST at Champions Trace.
