Box Score ST. LOUIS – The Spalding University volleyball team fell to Greenville College in four sets.
The Golden Eagles lost the first set 25-16, but bounced back to take the second set 25-23. However, the Panthers took the final two sets 25-20 and 25-23 to take the match 3-1.
Elisa Burkman led Spalding with 15 kills,
Jessica Diehl added 15 and
Morgan Wilson passed out 35 assists.
Casey Wilkerson led the defense with 19 assists, while
Victoria Heitzman and Diehl had 17 apiece.
The Golden Eagles will be back in action Thursday, October 2 when they take on Indiana University Southeast. Start time is set for 7:00 p.m., EST in New Albany, Indiana.
