2014 Season
Elisa Burkman, a SLIAC First Team All-Conference selection, played 33 matches and 121 sets her senior season. Burkman recorded double-digit kills in 28 of 33 matches played finishing third in the SLIAC in kills (456), kills per set (3.77), total attacks (1227) and service aces (48). Burkman also made her impact felt on defense finishing the season with 354 digs and 2.93 digs per set, which ranked second on the team. On November 1, Elisa recorded 24 kills, nine digs and 24.5 total points in Spalding’s 3-1 win over Greenville College.
2013 Season
The 2013 season marked Elisa Burkman’s third season with the Lady Eagles. Burkman finished the season with a 3.05 kills per set average and 250 total kills; she led the team in both categories. She also led the team with 290 points on the season. On November 2, in a 3-2 victory over Fontbonne University, Burkman led Spalding with season highs, 19 kills and 24.5 points, and recorded 16 digs. Appearing in 24 matches, Burkman logged 15 matches with double digit kills, 13 matches with double digit digs, and 17 matches with double digit points. For her contributions to the Lady Eagles, Burkman received All-Conference First Team honors.
2012 Season
In Burkman’s second season with the Lady Eagles she led the SLIAC in kills per set with a 4.34 average and was second in the conference with 417 total kills. Burkman’s 486 points on the season ranked her second in the SLIAC and she was ranked first in the SLIAC with 1277 total attacks. Burkman put up season highs, 29.5 points and 24 kills, on October 23, 2012 in a 3-1 victory over Centre College. For her efforts on the season, Burkman received Second Team All-Conference honors.
2011 Season
The 2011 season marked Burkman’s first season with the Lady Eagles. She played in 103 sets and finished the season ranked second on the team in kills with a 2.60 kills per set average and 268 total kills. Burkman ranked second in points with 340 total points on the season and ranked third in blocks with 23 total blocks. On September 9, 2011 she recorded season highs, 17 kills and 20 points, as the Lady Eagles fell to Anderson University 3-2. As a freshman, Burkman received Second Team All-Conference honors for her contribution to the Lady Eagles.
Previous Awards
Prior to her collegiate career at Spalding, Burkman received Kentucky’s 7th Region All-Region honors.
