Box Score LOUISVILLE –
Dee Dee Sliter scored two second half goals to lead the Spalding University women's soccer team past Greenville College, 3-1. With the victory, the Golden Eagles improve to 3-5 overall and 1-0 in SLIAC play.
Sliter led the Golden Eagle attack with two goals and an assist, and Hannah Freyag added a goal as well.

Kelsey Kaiser (3-3) had an excellent performance tallying eight saves, while allowing one goal.
The Golden Eagles found the back of the net first, Sliter fed a ball to
Hannah Freytag on the right side of the box, and Freytag drove a shot past the keeper to give SU a 1-0 lead in 12
th minute. Three minutes later Greenville's Barbara Nigro snuck a shot past Kaiser to tie the game 1-1. Neither team scored over the next 30 minutes resulting in a 1-1 tie at the half.
Sliter slotted the game-winner in the 54
th minute with a header right in front of the goal from a
Katie Ballard cross. Sliter put the game out of reach drilling a penalty kick past the Greenville keeper in the 82
nd minute for the final goal of the game.
The Lady Eagles will be back in action Friday, October 3 against Iowa Wesleyan. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m., EST at Principia College.
