RICHMOND, Ind. - Spalding Men's Golf posted a 5th-place team finish at the 5th Annual Forest Hills Invitational at Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond, Indiana, anchored by an individual tournament victory from Augustus Vega and a top-three finish from Ashton Bass.

Team Performance
The Golden Eagles carded a two-round team score of +61 (Round 1: +30 | Round 2: +31) to place 5th in the 10-team field. Indiana University East (B) took home the team title at +37, followed by host Earlham (+41) and Anderson (+44).

Individual Highlights

• Augustus Vega (1st Place — Individual Medalist): Vega claimed the individual tournament title with a 4-over-par total (144). He set the pace on day one with a 1-over 71 and closed it out on day two with a 3-over 73 to finish two strokes clear of the field.
• Ashton Bass (T-3rd Place): Bass earned a top-five finish, tying for 3rd overall at 7-over-par. He opened with a 2-over round on Saturday and followed up with a 5-over in round two.
