LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Spalding baseball's Hunter Strong has been nominated as the SLIAC's Division III Commissioners Association (D3CA) Men's Sport Student-Athlete of the Year. Strong, a two-time ABCA and D3baseball.com All-American and two-time CSC Academic All-American, graduated with a 4.0 grade point average in June and will continue his education at Spalding pursuing a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. The D3 Commissioners Award honors graduating student-athletes who have distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in the areas of academic achievement, athletic excellence, service, and leadership.
