SU moved to 6-6 (4-1 SLIAC), while the Beavers fell to 1-11 (0-5 SLIAC).
TURNING POINT
The Golden Eagles set an assertive tone early, leveraging a combination of tight defense and efficient offense to build a substantial lead. Their defensive efforts limited Blackburn to 23 first-half points, while their offensive execution resulted in a 43-point output, giving Spalding a commanding 43-23 advantage at halftime.
Spalding maintained their momentum into the second half, continuing to apply defensive pressure and execute offensively. They added 35 points after the break, while holding the Beavers to 29 second-half points, culminating in a comprehensive 78-52 victory.
