UNION GROVE, Ala. – Spalding women's golf finished second at the SU Alabama Invasion with a second place finish from
Jordan Harris.
Harris carded rounds of 85 and 87 for a 172, earning 14 pars and a birdie.
Alexis Seay came close as she shot a 92 and 82 for a 174. This gave Seay a fifth place tie.
Madison Harding (87-91-178) grabbed a top 10 finish, as she tied for ninth.
Bailey Birdsell (92-97-189, tied 21st) and
Madison Elder (110-98-208, finished 32nd) rounded it out for the Golden Eagles.
Saint Mary of the Woods won the event with a 694. Spalding finished second overall with a team score of 713.
The Golden Eagles will be back in action on March 22-23. SU will compete in the Purgatory Intercollegiate in Noblesville, In.
