LEXINGTON, Ky. – Spalding women's golf had three of five golfers finish in the top half of the Transylvania University Women's Fall Invitational field.

Alexis Seay paced the Golden Eagles, placing 26th after shooting rounds of 80, 84, and 82 at the University Club of Kentucky Wildcat Course for 245. Jordan Harris was next in 34th carding rounds of 82, 81, and 86 for a final tally of 249. 

Newcomer Madison Harding was the final SU finisher in the top half of the field with a 36th-place finish (83-82-84—249). Bailey Birdsell was next for the Spalding team in 61st (90-94-91—275). Madison Elder rounded out the Golden Eagle contingent with a 67th-place finish (86-97-103—286).

Spalding finished 10th with a total score of 1014. Rhodes College picked up the team win with a 933.

The Golden Eagles take part in the Hanover Fall Classic next. Play runs Sept. 8-9 at the Hidden Creek Golf Club.
