ANDERSON, Ind. – Spalding experienced a 4-1 setback at women's soccer at Anderson University Saturday evening.
The Golden Eagles fell to 0-1 after the season debut, while the Ravens moved to 1-0.
TURNING POINT
It was all Anderson in the first half of action. The home squad scored three goals in the opening frame to take a 3-0 lead into the half.

Anderson prevailed 4-1 in the first action of the season.
GOLDEN EAGLE NOTES
- Spalding had a 17-15 advantage in overall shots and had a 10-9 edge in shots on goal.
- Both the overall shots and shots on goal tallies are the highest for SU since a 46-shot effort on Oct. 15, 2022
- The Golden Eagles had nine corner kicks to the Ravens three.
- Young led SU on offense with six total shots. Five of those were on goal.
- Jordan Schneider had five saves in her 90 minutes in goal.
