NORTON, Ohio. - The Women's cross country team rounded up their season at the 2023 NCAA DIII Great Lakes Regionals.
TURNING POINTS
The ladies started their day after the men's team raced through the hilly course. Spalding was led by freshman standout
Reganne Piercy. She finished in a pack of runners with a time of 27:44.16.
The dynamic duo of
Vivienne Reinhardt and
Muskan Jamshed raced their way to a new personal best (PB). Reinhardt crossed the finish line with a time of 28:12.97, while Jamshed finished close behind with a 28:20.4.
Lexie Barthmaier and
Alliyah Thomas rounded the meet out for the Golden Eagles. Barthmaier navigated the course at 29:44..25 with Thomas close behind at 29:55.54.
GOLDEN EAGLE NOTES
- Three out of the five runners either PR'd or came close to their season's best.
- First full season as a scoring team since 2019.
