ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Spalding University volleyball junior Abigail Ratts has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.

In Friday's match against Eureka College, Ratts tallied 4 blocks. On Saturday, she added 5 more blocks against Blackburn College and another 3 against Webster University. Abigail also tallied another block in the 3-0 sweep against Principia College on Tuesday. Ratts totaled 13 blocks in four matches.

It is the second SLIAC Offensive Player of the Week award of the year for Ratts and second defensive SLIAC Player of the Week award for SU volleyball this season.

The Golden Eagles take to the court again on Tuesday, October 24th at 7 p.m at Berea College.
