LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Maelyn Ridener of Spalding women's basketball received her first Arrow Safety Player of the Game after having her best performance of the year.

Ridener scored a season-high 17 points against the visiting Blue Jays of Westminster, which was just one shy of her career best. The sophomore made three 3-pointers which tied her career high.

The Louisville native also tied her career high in field goals made with a total of five. She led all SU players in scoring in the contest.

Greenville hosts the Golden Eagles on Thursday in a SLIAC road tilt. Tip-off from Illinois is set for 6:30 p.m.
