GREENVILLE, Ill. – The Spalding University track and field team traveled to Greenville, Ill. this past weekend to compete in the SLIAC Outdoor Championship.
Victoria Shedron won the women's 5000 meters championship. The senior from Rossville, Ind. crossed the finish line with a time of 19:43.20 to take the crown.
Noah McClellan placed second in the 1500 meters for the Golden Eagles with a time of 4:09.10.
Peter McGowan raced to a second place finish in the 5K with a time of 16:36.70, as well as took fourth in the 3000 steeplechase with a time of 10:40.23. The 4x100 Relay Finals team of
Kenneth Goins,
Parker Chatman, Joel Porra, and
Maxton Campbell finished fourth clocking a time of 48.68. Chatman also took 16
th in the long jump with a best of 5.33m or 17 feet 6 inches.
