LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding men's soccer team rolled past Eureka College, 3-0, Saturday afternoon at the Spalding Athletic Complex in Louisville, Ky. With the win, the Golden Eagles improve to 3-5-1 overall and 2-2 in SLIAC play.
 
The Golden Eagles got on the scoreboard midway through the first period when Ethan Eckert found Luc Cesar who fired a shot in the back of the net in 22^nd minute for the first of his two goals. Reese Bohde scored in the 34^th minute off a ball played in by Chris Encarnacion to extend the lead to 2-0 heading into the half. Cesar added another in the 48^th minute to push the Spalding lead to three goals and Braden Anderson tacked on another in the 68^th minute to make it 4-0 SU. Spalding added two more goals in the final 10 minutes to run the final tally to 6-0. Kaleb Whiteside scored in the 86^th minute and Trenton Anderson buried a free kick from 40 yards in the 87^th for the final goal of the game.
 
Assan Gueye (1-0) earned the win in the net while recording two saves on the day.
