Spalding Athletics announces staff promotions

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Spalding University Athletics has appointed Business Manager and Title IX Deputy Lisa Bash-DeFrees, Associate Athletic Director, as well as promoted Head Men's Soccer Coach and Director of Compliance Adam Boyer, and Director of Athletic Communications Brian Clinard to Assistant Athletic Directors.

Bash-Defrees, a 17-year member of the Spalding athletic department, Lisa oversees is the SWA and Title IX Deputy and oversee business operation in the department. Bash-Defrees has been an integral component in Spalding's transition to the NCAA and growth to 18 varsity sports.

Coach Boyer is entering his 10th year in the Spalding athletic department. In addition to guiding the men's soccer program to a pair of SLIAC regular season championships in 2016 and 2018, Boyer has served as the Director of Compliance two years where he oversees NCAA compliance for Spalding's 230 student-athletes.

Clinard is beginning his 10th year at Spalding. He oversees all strategic communications for the athletics department at Spalding, which includes 18 NCAA Division III varsity athletic programs, including, media, public relations, statistics, graphic design, web content and development, and live broadcasts.
