LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University women's basketball team traveled across town to take on newly added Division I team, Bellarmine.
The Knights would pace majority of the game as the Golden Eagles stepped on the court at Freedom Hall. Bellarmine would outscore Spalding in the first period, 32-14. The Golden Eagle defense could not hold off the Knights as the game came to an end with a score of 105-48.
Natalie Fichter led Spalding with 17 points as she was 5-7 behind the arc while bringing down five boards as
Mercedez Moore totaled 11 points with three rebounds.

th with a tip-off time at 2:00 pm ET.
