LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University volleyball team lost to the Panthers of Greenville 3-0 to finish off their regular season. The Golden Eagles will secure the #3 seed in the SLIAC Championship.
 
The Golden Eagles would go down early in the first set as the Spalding offense would try to gather their bearings. The Panthers would take the first set 25-19 as their offense would overwhelm the Spalding defense. The Panthers would take the second set in the same fashion as the first, 25-19. The third set proved more difficult for the Panthers as Spalding would go up in points for the early lead. As both teams would trade the lead, the Panthers would ultimately walk away with the win in the third set, 25-20.
 
Jayda Branch leads the team with a total of 10 kills as Mya Summers records 26 assists and Branch pulls 15 balls off the courts.
