HANOVER, Ind. - The Spalding men's basketball team lost to Hanover, 82-56, Wednesday night dropping their record to 1-3 on the season.
The Eagles jumped out to an early 8-2 lead with the help of four points apiece from
Christian Stewart and
Troy Amanor. Hanover's Ty Houston put the Panthers in the lead with 13:18 left in the half knocking down a three-pointer to push Hanover in front, 16-14. Hanover kept that lead into halftime with the halftime score being 41-29. After the Eagles scored the first four points of the second half, the Panthers outscored Splading 41-23 over the remainder of the game to pull away for an 82-56 victory.
Christian Stewart led Spalding with 19 points and 9 rebounds, and Ty Houston led Hanover with 20 points.
The Golden Eagles will be back in action on Friday, November 19 against Ripon at 6:00 p.m. ET. Â
