Young’s Hat Trick Leads Spalding in Senior Day Victory

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding University women's soccer team beats the Blue Jays of Westminster to advance to 6-5-1 in conference play. Baeli Young records first hat trick of the season to give Spalding the win.

The Golden Eagles' offense struck first as Juli Nelson would carry the ball downfield and find Baeli Young in the box for the first goal of the match and Young's 10th goal on the year. The Spalding team would continue to hold possession in the 10th minute as Young would dribble the ball to the foot of senior Andrea Hayden for her second goal of the season and of the match. Young would round off the offense with two more goals in the 22nd and the 66th minute of play to give Spalding the 4-1 lead.

Up next for the Golden Eagles, they will take on the Panthers of Principia College at home on Tuesday, October 26th at 8:00 pm ET.
