LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Spalding men's soccer team won a hard-fought contest at home against Fontbonne, 4-2, Wednesday evening. With the win, the Golden Eagles now sit at a record of 9-6-1 and are 8-3 in conference play.

Chris Encarnacion gave Spalding a 3-0 lead. In the last five minute of the first half, Fontbonne had a run reducing Spalding's lead to 3-2 heading into the half. After a hard-fought second half sophomoreÂ
Ethan Eckert scored the final goal of the game to give Spalding a 4-2 lead securing the win.Â
