LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Spalding baseball team traveled to Hanover for a mid-week matchup against their neighbors to the north, defeating the Panthers 5-4.

HIGHLIGHTS
Garrett Wilson started the game off with a bang, hitting a homerun on the first pitch of the game for Spalding. Later, Hanover tied the game in the third by scoring off back to back doubles. The Golden Eagles then took the lead from a pair of runs in the fourth and fifth. However, the Panthers had a solid bottom of the fifth, scoring three runs of their own. Spalding cranked out another pair of runs in the seventh and eighth, securing the win in the close game, 5-4.
